Leora’s Legacy Donation page is active!! PLEASE PASS IT ON!

I can’t believe it!

Last Monday, I finished working on the Donations page of the website, then I was sick with a fever the rest of the week. I didn’t have a chance to let anyone know about this page yet, but Tuesday morning I had notification of several donations already, and on through the rest of the week! I do not think I will ever stop being amazed by peoples’ generosity.

So on that note, here is the official announcement that the Donation page is active!!

You can visit the page at www.LeorasLegacy.com and click on ‘Donations’ on the menu, or go straight to the page at www.myshininglight.com/Donations.

We use PayPal to collect donations.  For those of you who are not familiar with PayPal, they are the most trusted and secure collection site on the web. When you pay in this manner, all of your information is secure, in fact, we never see your credit card info. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to donate.

All the information is available on our site, so everyone knows where donations go, and what they are used for. At this point, we are working on being incorporated, so we may apply for non-profit status, and of course, our first fund raiser is April 26th. The flyer for the 1st Annual Rock Paper Scissors Tournament will be coming shortly, so check your email!

Please friends, we need your help to raise awareness for much needed Leiomyosarcoma research, so that we may see a cure. Even better treatments in the near future would at least help some of those suffering to attain remission, which is very difficult to achieve.

And remember…

NO donation is too small, and every little bit helps.

Please make your donation today, and pass this on to everyone you know. Perhaps your employer and/or coworkers would be interested in making or matching a donation so we can begin to heal those who are afflicted, as well as those who are affected.
