Imran Haque is a licensed, certified, and reputable medical doctor that specializes in internal medicine. He graduated from his residential program in 2001 at the University of Virginia, where he trained for three years to become licensed in practicing internal medicine. Dr. Imran Haque practices in rural North Carolina, largely because he was trained in several rural areas throughout residency, where he realized that people in the southeastern United States’ rural areas were largely underserved and needed better medical care. Dr. Haque decided to live in North Carolina, as it’s next to mountains, borders the Atlantic Ocean, and is close to his family.
While countless people in the rural communities of Asheboro and Ramseur trust Dr. Imran Haque, not everyone knows his background – not too many people know their doctor personally, across the entire world, for that matter. Let’s look into Dr. Imran Haque’s background, who he is, and how he became the resounding success that he is today.
Dr. Imran Haque – back in these times, he wasn’t a doctor yet – enrolled in a Caribbean medical school named Universidad Iberoamerican, the most prestigious of four medical schools in the semitropical region, in 1994. Four years later, now-medical doctor Imran Haque graduated from the program with honors, soon finding placement at the University of Virginia’s residential program.
He quickly founded Horizon Internal Medicine after leaving Virginia, a fully accredited, North Carolina-licensed medical practice. Within one year of the first facility becoming a hit, he founded the second location, having always accepted new patients in both Ramseur and Asheboro.
Today, Imran Haque focuses on cosmetic procedures including 360 laser resurfacing and body contouring. However, some of the more popular treatments this renowned doctor offers include diabetes management and medical weight loss, two things that many people in rural areas need help with.
